This is a group where people and dogs can get together and socialize with one another. Anyone can schedlue a meetup. I wanted to create a group where people can organize walks and get together. Dog walking is more fun with other people and dogs!!

I've got an active, social dog who loves doing things in groups. Hikes, swims, and even good at out door restaurants. Would like to form a group of others looking for the same thing. So, if you've got a dog who is your best friend and can play well with others...we've to get get together.

The reason for my starting this group-I am a stay at home mom with an 11 month old daughter and a 9 year old Chihuahua who is also like my baby.   I have found since my daughter was born last May, I have spent a little less time with my fur baby. So my thought was to create a group where we can meet at a local park with our babies and dogs and go for walks/hikes as well as get to know other Moms with like interests.

This meetup is for all dogs, of every size, shape and breed, who are dog friendly and want to socialize. It is also for their "parents" who want to have fun with their dogs in a safe environment. All dogs who attend should be current on their rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordetella vaccines.

People who love their corgis...think they are the smartest, funniest and most social little creatures and want to share their enthusiam and knowledge with other Corgi enthusiasts. Dogs can be either Pembrokes or Cardigans (even though they are not the same breeds). Planning on having Corgi get togethers in parks and beaches for buddies to socialize and make new friends.

Only one guest is allowed per member, otherwise the hikes are members only Attendance size may  be limited depending on the venue and parking etc. Hiking is always at your own risk, but please wear appropriate clothing, hiking boots or shoes. Cairn Terrier Lovers unite! I see you on the streets but never in the dog park. I was inspired to start this group when I noticed that my Cairn Terrier, Frankie, seemed to love playing with other Cairns more than non-cairns. Don't get me wrong, he loves playing with them too, but his ferocious play growl is often misunderstood by less ferocious players.
